HANDS OFF MY SPOONS
All these minor crimes were hanging offences in the 1800s in Britain:
1 associating with gypsies
2 setting fire to a hayrick
3 writing on Westminster Bridge
4 impersonating a pensioner of Greenwich hospital
5 writing a threatening letter
6 appearing on the highway with a sooty face
7 damaging a fish pond
8 cutting down a tree
9 secreting notes in a post office
10 stealing a spoon
Well, that's me hung then.
